Pequot Lakes Police Dept. <br /> Report to the City Council <br /> Aug 27, 2008 <br /> So far for the month of August the Department has logged more than 552 individual ICRs. <br /> Current Activities: <br /> The Reserves, Part time and Full time Officers conducted 1311 individual business and home security <br /> checks throughout the month, with 6 open doors found. <br /> The Reserves provided foot patrol during the Band Concert in the City Park on Aug 2nd <br /> The Reserve Unit participated in the 1st annual Choke Cherry Festival on August 16th. Three members <br /> put on a Free Kids Fingerprinting and Safety Information Clinic as well as providing security during the <br /> Street Dance at the American Legion. <br /> Training: <br /> `--' Aug 21st: Officers Nangle, Petersen, Melberg and Murdock attended Precision Driving training at <br /> Hibbing Technical College. This training is required every three years for all officers. <br /> Upcoming Training: <br /> Sep 10-11th: Office Manager Janet Wedan will attend a BCA Conference in St Cloud, covering <br /> several of the categories she is contracted with the State with regards to mandatory <br /> agency reporting and records management. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Jerry Braam <br /> Chief of Police <br />
