Operations and Maintenance: • The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and submitted. • Continually have been re-mapping water shut-offs and extending those that need it to the surface. Encountered one shut-off that is leaking,and will schedule a time when the valve will be replaced. • On the 25th, Dean with Fargo Water and Rick Wanner with American Flow, were here to look at a couple of fire hydrants that were problematic this spring while flushing. Repairs were made,however at the hydrant next to the Oasis,the water could not be shut off completely after several attempts. It was concluded that the hydrant will need a new rubber seat in the bottom of the barrel,which will require the water main to be shut-down during the repair, since no isolation valve is at this hydrant. Business owners will be notified as to when and approximately how long the repairs will take. • 13 work orders were completed • 18 locates were received • 106 curb stops have been located,re-mapped and raised where needed, for August.
