July 1, 2008 WIDSETH SMITH NOLTING The Honorable Mayor and City Council City of Pequot Lakes 4368 County Road 11 Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 RE: Survey and Engineering Services Proposal Cole Memorial Building and Tower Square Dear Mayor and Members of the Council: This is a follow-up to our previous proposal for engineering services related to reconstruction of the Cole Memorial Building's parking lot and a portion of Tower Square to address persistent drainage problems. We completely understand why the City will be moving forward on this without our services. However, as requested, this proposal is for two separate tasks: surveying the north property line of the Cole Memorial Building property, and surveying and drawing up "as-built" conditions for the City's records. Property Line Survey �-- WSN proposes the following scope of services: 1. Research previous surveys and records from the Courthouse. Note that this task does not include a Title Search. 2. Recover horizontal control points out in the field. 3. Perform office computations. 4. Stake lot corners in the field. 5. Provide a Certificate of Survey to the City. WSN proposes to perform the above tasks on an hourly basis, in accordance with the attached fee schedule and general provisions, for an estimated cost of$2,950. "As-Built" Drawings After construction is complete, WSN proposes the following scope of services: 1.
