The landscaping standard does not require screening,just vegetation, which could be <br /> grass. This is the exact wording from the original landscape standard. Screening may <br /> have been directed by City Staff in the past. <br /> Staff was directed to add "with a combination of grass, shrubs, . . ." at the end of the <br /> second line. <br /> The setback from lot line has been reduced to zero for parking lots and drive ways. <br /> Stormwater management would need to be addressed with permitting new Land Use <br /> Permits. Zero setbacks would allow a shared driveway and utilize.more of the lot. <br /> A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Mark Hallan, to recommend the City <br /> Council adopt these ordinance amendments. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Woog closed the public hearings. <br /> ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: <br /> ADD: <br /> 7. b. Temporary Sign Request—Lakes Area Crafters Market <br /> 7. c. Volunteers to participate in onsite visit. <br /> OPEN FORUM: None. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> a. Elaine Yablonsky <br /> Bob Sausen, Mrs. Yablonsky's CPA, and Joe Grecula, friend, represented Mrs. <br /> Yablonsky. <br /> Staff explained the Staff Report. This is an after the fact permit and she is requesting <br /> permission to let the freezer and fence remain until the shop is sold. <br /> The dumpster has been removed and she uses two small containers. <br /> The picket fence posts are cemented in and the freezer is on a slab. It is a self contained <br /> freezer and it has its own power source. The power supply and the slab would have to be <br /> moved. A small shed would need to be moved also.
