August 19, 2014 Pequot Lakes Housing & Redevelopment Authority Commissioners present: Robert Ritter, Jane Ness, Clara Nelson, Tamra Lanning Also present: Executive Director-Carlson, Assistant Director-Anderson, and Mayor-Adams Tenants: Hoskin, Rager, Walker, *Call Regular Meeting to Order 5:15 p.m. Chairman Ritter called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. *Consider Agenda/Changes Additional bills added to the original summary distributed earlier. *Consent Agenda/Regular Meeting Motion to Accept the Minutes, Payment of the Bills, Reviewed and Accept the Financials. Moved by Ness, Seconded by Ritter,All Ayes; Motion carried. *West Grove New upcoming vacancy should be rented with applicant we are working with. *Sibley Terrace No Business *ParkView Chairman Ritter asked if the issue at Parkview II was resolved. Director Carlson stated the matter has not come up recently, and the upstairs tenant was asked if moving to the lower level would be something she would want to consider. Tenant stated she likes where she is at. With the help of photography, positive identification of the kids from Janice Estates on the playground has been made. Director Carlson has addressed the issue directly to the neighboring management. That neighboring management said they would take care of it. *Alpine No Business *Executive Director's Report Craigslist seems to draw more response than newspaper when listing vacancies. Working on getting our ACOPs updated. Director Carlson presented a Resident Complaint Form that the office wants to initiate. It was unanimous to begin using. Maintenance Engineer's Report None *Other Business Mayor Adams mentioned the Budget Workshop for the City that is in the works.
