RESOLUTION 08-20 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING REAL ESTATE FROM MRS. LESTER GILDNER <br /> WHICH IS TO BE DEDICATED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES <br /> WHEREAS, Marcella Gildner has offered to donate the following parcels of property to <br /> the City of Pequot Lakes: <br /> • Parcel # 291070120010009 <br /> • Parcel# 291070120020009 <br /> • Parcel #291070120260009 <br /> • Parcel # 291070120270009 <br /> and; <br /> WHEREAS, the conditions of the donation are that the donation must be accomplished <br /> during Marcella Gildner's lifetime, that a plaque be placed on the property <br /> stating "In Memory of Les and Marcy Gildner", and that the property be <br /> dedicated for use as a public purpose; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park Commission has considered the offer and is recommending that <br /> the City accept the property and dedicate it as a public park; and; <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Park Commission's recommendation and <br /> concurs that the property is valuable to the City and should be dedicated as <br /> a public park. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pequot <br /> Lakes gratefully accepts the property donated by Marcella Gildner and <br /> that the property will be dedicated as public park property. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 1st day of July, 2008. <br /> Cathy Malecha <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra A.
