City Council Minutes <br /> October 3,2022 <br /> Page 4 of 10 <br /> Planning Commission unanimously recommends the City Council amend the City <br /> Code as presented. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE <br /> CITY CODE TO CREATE PROVISIONS FOR AND ALLOW ACCESSORY <br /> DWELLING UNITS,AMEND DEFINITIONS,AND REVISE THE LAND USE <br /> MATRIX. COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE SUMMARY <br /> PUBLICATION. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.4. Consider Adoption of Downtown Plan Update <br /> Dawn Bittner said on September 15, 2022, at the joint work session City Council <br /> members and Planning Commission members and they updated the walkability <br /> in the Downtown Plan Update. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS MOVED TO APPROVE THE DOWNTOWN PLAN <br /> UPDATE. COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> 7.1. Fire Report <br /> The September 2022 Fire Department Report was received by Council. <br /> Mayor Gardner asked to update the wording to"Fire District Report". <br /> 8. Police <br /> 8.1 Police Department Report <br /> The August 2022 Police Department Monthly Report was received by Council. <br /> 9. Public Works <br /> 9.1. Public Works Report <br /> The September 2022 Public Works Report was received by Council. Mayor <br /> Gardner asked if the spray patching has been done. Mr. Roy stated that it started <br /> today and said they got a lot of manholes that were snagging the plows. He <br /> explained spray patching is similar to crack sealing, but they put rocks in it and its <br /> very hard. He said CRS is doing the work. <br />
