Road Projects Discussion
Main and Front Street: Staff has planned for this project to be a 2024 Construction season project. If
the council is in agreement,we can begin the process of laying groundwork to get this project off the
ground.
9th Ave: There have many options and plans discussed. At present all three entities that are responsible
for parts of the road are in agreement on how to proceed. Staff needs council thoughts on what our
stance is and opinions on how to move forward.
Patriot Ave: It is set for chip sealing and restriping this season. Even if we don't have a full plan,we
should likely restripe in correlation with future plan.
Ackerson/Nelson/W ld Acres: Each entity on the road seems to have a different opinion on how to
move forward. We need a clear picture from council on what the council supports before we can try to
bridge a gap that creates a plan with all entities on how to move forward. NOTE: The City of Breezy
Point is moving forward with a reconstruction of Buschmann Road,so traffic will likely increase on all of
these roads with a the new stretch of smoother and safer pavement.
Coleman Drive: We will be using the ARPA funds council approved to create a new, safer and gradual
entrance to Coleman Drive. This project should take place this Spring/Summer.
