Mr. <br /> Burslie has indicated Rural Residential. Mr. Burslie stated he misspoke earlier. His <br /> recommendation is to reclassify these areas as Urban/Rural Transition. This would be <br /> the middle ground between high density and low density uses. This will allow more <br /> flexibility for the long-term. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT CLOSED. <br /> Mr. Burslie stated the Planning Commission should develop Findings of Fact to support <br /> their recommendation to the City Council. <br /> Mr. Burslie also noted the map for the County Road 11 corridor should be revised to <br /> include the area outside the Shoreland Area at Rice Lake. He will provide the revision to <br /> City Staff. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Ellering,seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member E. Larson,to recommend the City Council <br /> reclassify the County Road ii corridor and the Patriot Avenue corridor to <br /> Urban/Rural Transition,based on the following Findings of Fact: <br /> 1. The City is expecting an increase in higher density residential development; <br /> 2. The City is looking to expand higher density residential areas; <br /> 3. The City is hoping to build upon the future and ensure there are sufficient <br /> residential lots available for future residents. <br /> All members voted"aye".
