MINUTES <br /> PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING COMMISSION/ <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OCTOBER 24, 2022 <br /> PRESENT: Chair L. Larson; Planning Commission Members Boulka, Ellering, Gonczy, <br /> E. Larson and Norton. ABSENT: None. <br /> CITY PLANNER: Justin Burslie, Sourcewell <br /> ZONING SPECIALIST: Dawn Bittner <br /> DEPUTY CLERK: Absent <br /> COUNCIL LIAISIONS: Mayor Gardner and Council Member Ronning <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> 1.2 Roll Call <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Ellering, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member E. Larson,to approve the Agenda as <br /> presented. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Gonczy, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member Ellering,to open the Public Hearings. All <br /> members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> 3. Public Hearings <br /> 3.1 City of Pequot Lakes, applicant <br /> Applicant requests an Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan revising the <br /> Future Land Use Map <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Staff Report. The area along County Road 11 being considered <br /> for revision is now Rural Residential and Agriculture on the Future Land Use Map. This <br /> area is considered for low intensity and low density type development. Low intensity <br /> would be agricultural uses and large lot development. The City was not considering <br /> residential growth in this area when this map was created.
