Pequot Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> November 2022: During the month of November(1st-30th),the Pequot Lakes Police Department <br /> has a record of 246 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Assault <br /> • EMS <br /> • Damage to Property <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Housewatch <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Public Assist <br /> • Property Damage Accident <br /> • Scam/Con <br /> • Suspicious Activity/Person/Vehicle <br /> • Threats <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 11/26/22, Officer Derek Johnson was dispatched to an address for a report of a verbal <br /> domestic. Officer Johnson met with the female reporting party who stated her and her husband <br /> got into a disagreement. It was then disclosed to Officer Johnson that it had turned physical. <br /> The male party was ultimately arrested for Misdemeanor Domestic Assault and transported to <br /> the Crow Wing County Jail. Officer Johnson was assisted by the Breezy Point Police Department. <br /> On 11/26/22,Chief Eric Kiang took a report of a financial fraud.The victim came to the police <br /> department to report that he received a text message that prompted him to call a phone <br /> number about an unauthorized purchase.The victim was instructed to make a cash withdrawal <br /> from his bank account and deposit it into a cryptocurrency machine.This is an ongoing <br /> investigation. <br />
