AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0-1. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD ABSTAINED. <br /> <br />11.6. IT Service Agreement <br /> <br /> The Clerk noted that staff has received proposals from four IT companies <br />and is recommending that the city continue using Cascade Computers. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE SERVICE <br />AGREEMENT WITH CASCADE COMPUTERS FOR IT SERVICES. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />11.7. City Attorney Services for 2013 <br /> <br /> The Clerk noted that Paul Sandelin has submitted a proposal for attorney <br />services in 2013. She noted that the business has been sold to Clyde <br />Ahlquist and the name of the business will be changed to Ahlquist Law <br />Office. <br /> <br /> Mayor Adams recommended that the City use different attorneys for <br />different situations. She stated that the City will use Ahlquist Law Firm for <br />city issues such as planning and zoning and Abrams & Schmidt LLC for <br />City representation on labor relations matters. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO USE AHLQUIST LAW <br />OFFICE FOR REPRESENTATION ON CIVIL MATTERS AND USE <br />ABRAMS AND SCHMIDT LLC FOR REPRESENTATION ON LABOR <br />RELATIONS MATTERS. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />11.8. Insurance Agent of Record <br /> <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO REAPOINT LAKELAND AGENCY AS <br />THE INSURANCE AGENT OF RECORD FOR 2013. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />0. <br /> <br />11.9. OPEB Actuarial <br /> <br /> Nancy Malecha reviewed the OPEB Actuarial with the Council. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ACCEPT THE POST- <br />EMPLOYMENT BENEFIT VALUATION REPORT AND THAT THE CITY <br />FUND ITS OPEB OBLIGATION BY USING THE PAY-AS-YOU-GO <br />(PAYGO) METHOD. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
