City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes= <br /> Water/Wastewater Report — October 2022 <br /> 8) Quarterly sampling of the City's monitoring wells around the wastewater ponds was <br /> completed on 10/11. <br /> 9) A water line in Trailside Park was repaired in early October. Schrupp Excavating took <br /> care of the dirt work for us. <br /> 10)Brian's Welding repaired a slide gate valve at the City's wastewater ponds. <br /> 11)Check valves at the industrial park lift station were pulled and cleaned. <br /> 12)The tower recirculation pump was pulled for repair in mid-October. The pump has been <br /> repaired,reinstalled and is working fine. <br /> 13)City water and sewer service was installed at a residence on Bell Avenue. <br /> 14)Tretter Excavating repaired a damaged sewer line on Front Street,resulting from <br /> construction activity that took place last summer. Repairs went well and paving is <br /> complete. <br /> 15)Gate valve exercising and locating continues. I should have this wrapped up by the end <br /> of November. <br /> 16)The City's Wellhead Protection Plan amendment process has begun. We'll be working <br /> on this with Minnesota Department of Health over the next year or so. I'll keep the <br /> council updated in my monthly reports. <br /> 17)Taylor Richardson has been working with me for a few hours each day on various <br /> water/sewer related tasks.
