<br /> Background Information: Justin Franke, property owner at 4910 Timber
<br /> Oaks Road, informed City Hall he had constructed an accessory structure without
<br /> a permit. He had checked Crow Wing County Ordinances and a permit was not
<br /> required. However, while making the physical review of his property, the Crow
<br /> Wing County Assessor informed Mr. Franke that the accessory structure required
<br /> a permit from Pequot Lakes.
<br /> Mr. Franke promptly made application for a Land Use Permit. The Fee Schedule
<br /> lists After the Fact Fees as 5 times the base fee with a minimum penalty of$300.
<br /> The fee for Mr. Franke would be $125 X 5 = $625. Mr. Franke will request the
<br /> City Council reduce the fee from $625.

<br /> can reduce a fee. Staff is looking for a recommendation from the Planning
<br /> Commission to reduce the fee or not.
