ORDINANCE NUMBER 22- , SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> TO MODIFY THE PURPOSE AND INTENT OF THE PATRIOT <br /> DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AND TO ALLOW APARTMENTS AND/OR <br /> MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS AS A CONDITIONAL USE <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend Chapter <br /> 17 of the Pequot Lakes City Code TO MODIFY THE Purpose and Intent of the Patriot <br /> Development District and to allow apartments and/or multi-family dwellings as a <br /> Conditional Use. <br /> Amendment: <br /> Section 17-5.16 PATRIOT DEVELOPMENT (PD) <br /> 1. Purpose and Intent: To support and facilitate public or private development of <br /> this area by creating recreational, multi-family residential,commercial , and <br /> industrial opportunities to enhance the value and quality of life within our <br /> community. Multi-family residential development should must be located <br /> between the Paul Bunyan Trail and the future extension of Larsen Parkway. <br /> Section 17.18 Land Use Matrix <br /> A-allowed w/o a permit;P-permitted,C-conditional use;I-interim use;AC- accessory use,E-excluded. <br /> Dwelling, Apartment <br /> Dwelling, Multi-Family <br /> Effective Date: This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after passage and publication according to state law. <br /> Repeal: This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br /> Passed by the Pequot Lakes City Council this day of , 2022. <br />
