Larson, and Norton <br /> CITY PLANNER: Justin Burslie, Sourcewell <br /> ZONING SPECIALIST: Absent <br /> DEPUTY CLERK: Jennifer Peterson <br /> COUNCIL LIAISONS: Dan Ronning, Mayor Gardner, Council Member Cheri Seils, and <br /> Scott Pederson <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> 1.2 Roll Call <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Ellering, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member Gonczy,to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> All members voted"aye",Motion carried. <br /> 3. Joint Workshop —City Council and Planning Commission <br /> 3.1 Downtown Plan Update Discussion <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the history of the Downtown Plan Update to the Commission and <br /> present Council Members. Mayor Gardner pointed out a grammar error under section <br /> V.which will be updated prior to presenting to the City Council. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding street walkability scores, and they would like to update the <br /> following streets: <br /> • East Woodman Street—Very Poor <br /> • Front Street— High <br /> • Government Drive— Good, Reconstruction Consideration- add sidewalk from E. <br /> Butler to E.Woodman on south end of Government Drive <br /> • Main Street— Reconstruction consideration-remove two parking spots on either <br /> side of Main Street and install "No Parking from here to Curb"signs for better <br /> visibility at crosswalks. <br /> Minutes <br /> Pequot Lakes Planning Commission <br /> September 15, 2022 <br />
