PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PARK BOARD <br /> THURSDAY, MARCH 13TH, 2008 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Anderson , Board Members Tweed , Jurchen , Den <br /> Hartog , Koslofsky <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Staff Present: Jeanyne Alderson , Office Assistant, Mike Loven , <br /> Maintenance Supervisor, Cathy Malecha, Mayor <br /> 1 . Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 4:00 p. m. <br /> 2 . Ann Hutchins' Letter <br /> The Board reviewed Ann's letter and discussed many of her issue's <br /> were items the Board had no control over. <br /> 3 . Oxtrot Update <br /> Chair Anderson informed the Board that the City agreed to pay half of <br /> the cost of the Ox and the Park Board is paying the other half. <br /> Mr. Guenther, Pequot Lakes school teacher, will be in charge of <br /> painting & designing the ox. <br /> 4. Garden Maintenance <br /> Mayor Malecha reported that the Baptist Church will continue to <br /> maintain their garden. Chair Anderson stated Bernice at Lakes State <br /> Bank will continue maintaining their garden as well . Commissioner <br /> Den Hartog will take Ennaga's to see the gazebo area and see if they <br /> will plant this area before the Governor's opener. The Board then <br /> would be responsible for maintaining it. <br /> Mayor Malecha will run an ad in the paper asking for volunteers to <br /> maintain the remaining garden areas. <br />
