City Council Minutes <br /> April 1, 2008 <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> has suggested that the City appoint one or two Council Members to be <br /> part of the negotiating team. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO HIRE STEVE FECKER AS <br /> THE CITY'S LABOR ATTORNEY. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO HAVE THE MAYOR <br /> APPOINT TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS TO THE LABOR NEGOTIATING <br /> COMMITTEE. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Mayor Malecha appointed Council Member Oraskovich, Council Member <br /> Sjoblad, Chief Braam and Clerk Peine to the negotiating committee. <br /> 10.2. Trailside Estates <br /> The Clerk updated the Council on the Trailside Estates delinquency. <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE DAVE SJOBLAD AND <br /> TOM RYAN TO MEET WITH CORKY SMITH REGARDING THE <br /> DELINQUENCY. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.3. Storm Water Management Fee <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that the Staff would be ready to present <br /> the storm water management fee information at the May Council meeting. <br /> The Council suggested holding the public information meeting at 6:00 <br /> p.m.. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL <br /> MEETING FOR MAY 6, 2008 AT 6:00 P.M. TO HOLD A PUBLIC <br /> INFORMATION MEETING ON THE STORM WATER MANAGEMENT <br /> FEE. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.4. Copy Machine Lease <br /> The Clerk requested Council authorization to transfer the existing copy <br /> machine lease for the Savin 8035 to a new lease for a Ricoh MPC4500. <br /> She noted that the payments for the lease and service would remain the <br /> same.
