City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes--=- <br /> 4638 MAIN STREET•PEQUOT LAKES,MN 56472•(218) 568-5222•FAx (218) 568-5860•www.pequotlakes-mn.gov <br /> July 12, 2022 <br /> Sumday, LLC <br /> 4657 Morehouse Drive <br /> Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 <br /> RE: City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Potential City Code Violation <br /> PIN: 291130030040009/ 29140539 <br /> 4657 Morehouse Drive <br /> Dear Mr. Snyder: <br /> As outlined in my June 20, 2022 correspondence there are ongoing erosion issues from <br /> your driveways onto Morehouse Drive;these erosion issues require your immediate <br /> assistance and must be addressed within the next thirty(30) days(by August 12, 2022): <br /> • By no later than July 27, 2022 provide a detailed plan to the City outlining your <br /> plans to stabilize the parking areas and the spillway to eliminate sediment from <br /> reaching Morehouse Drive for City approval meeting the criteria below; <br /> • By no later than August 12, 2022 implement the approved plan. <br /> The City Code states in Section 17-7.2 (L): <br /> L. Erosion and Drainage. <br /> (1) No land shall be developed and no use shall be permitted that <br /> results in water runoff causing flooding,erosion,or deposit of <br /> sediment on adjacent properties. <br /> (2) All storm sewer inlets and drainage ways that are functioning <br /> during construction shall be protected so that sediment laden <br /> water does not enter the conveyance system without first <br /> being filtered or otherwise treated to remove sediment. <br /> (3) All on-site storm water conveyance systems must be designed <br /> and constructed to withstand the design volume of storm <br /> water with appropriate stabilization to prevent scour and <br /> erosion. Erosion controls must be provided at the outlets of <br /> all storm sewer pipes or drainage ways. <br /> "This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer:" <br />
