He indicated that the bonding company <br /> would certainly issue a Performance Bond to the City to replace the Maintenance Bond however <br /> the Smiths have indicated to the bonding company that they will not sign a Performance Bond. <br /> In order for the bonding company to issue a bond they need the principal, Trailside Estates, <br /> LLLP, to sign the bond. I requested that the bonding company forward a letter to me confirming <br /> that the Smiths have refused to sign a Performance Bond to replace the Maintenance Bond.
