City Council Minutes <br /> June 7,2022 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> Ms. Tiffany Jeffers with Lakes Latte, 31012 Government Dr, had some concerns <br /> that Lakes Latte was not notified of the street closure for the Bobbertown Block <br /> Party, as well as the timing of the street closure. Ms. Jeffers would like to have <br /> the City to update the Special Event procedure. <br /> 5.1. Evergreen Townhomes Potential Street Lights <br /> Mr. Ray Kuntz, President of the Evergreen Townhomes Association, 4665 Grey <br /> Spruce Ln, would like to add two streetlights to the development: one on the <br /> curve of Evergreen Point and one in between Grey Spruce Ln and White Spruce <br /> Ln on Evergreen Point. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO ADD TWO STREET LIGHTS <br /> ALONG EVERGREEN POINT AT THE INDICATED LOCATIONS. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 5.2. Splash Pad Fundraising Update <br /> Jenni Gonczy gave an overview of the fundraising efforts: <br /> • $ 82,957 cash in hand <br /> • $149,929 total raised to date(including the City's park dedication fees <br /> and Park Commission franchise fees) <br /> • There are funds from Super Value and the Brainerd Jaycees are still <br /> expected, <br /> Mr. Spiczka gave an update on the construction process. <br /> 5.3. 2021 Audit Presentation <br /> Ryan Schmidt, Schlenner Wenner& Co presented the staff report. Mr. Schmidt's <br /> only concern was the Capital Improvement Fund deficit. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2021 AUDIT <br /> REPORT. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The May 19, 2022, Planning &Zoning Commission Report was received by <br /> Council. <br />
