AGENDA ITEM # 6.2 <br /> City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes= <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Dawn Bittner <br /> Date: July 5, 2022 <br /> Subject: Rezone from Rural Residential to Commercial. <br /> Report: The attached Staff Report was presented at the June Council meeting <br /> where the vote was 3-0 to rezone the parcel to Commercial. Per State Statute, to <br /> rezone a residential parcel to commercial requires a 4/5 vote of the Council's <br /> members, not a majority of those present. The same State Statute requirements <br /> must be met to authorize Summary Publication. <br /> This rezone request is being presented again to ratify the following <br /> motions with 4/5's votes. <br /> Council Action Requested: <br /> A. Council motion to amend the official zoning map as outlined on the <br /> Ordinance Amendment. This requires a 4/5 vote. <br /> B. Council motion authorizing Summary Publication. This requires a 4/5 vote. <br />
