Council Member Ronning talked about coming up with <br /> an overall budget to get to and having a defined number for department heads to <br /> follow. He stated that the $25,000 spending cap without going to the <br /> Administrator or Council is high and suggested looking at potentially lowering that <br /> number as it could eliminated extra spending. Discussion ensued about the <br /> department heads identifying why these big expense items in the budget are <br /> necessary and the desire to get to a 50% tax rate. <br /> 11. Other Business <br /> Council Member Pederson thanked the Public Works staff for their hard work. <br /> 12. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO <br /> ADJOURN.
