(5) Any sign which is erected or displayed for a specified period of time. <br /> Amendment: Chapter 17, Section 7.13 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section 17-7.13 GRADING <br /> 1. General. The following activities must be authorized by permit, except for <br /> excavation for permitted structure, drives, sewer systems and parking areas: <br /> A. Grading and filling in the shore or bluff impact zone, <br /> B. Grading and filling of wetlands, <br /> C. Grading in the bed of public waters, <br /> D. Any alterations of the natural topography when the slope of the land <br /> is toward a public water or watercourse ' - • • - - •- - • •- - - <br /> . as follows: <br /> i. SIL-1 (cumulative from natural state): <br /> a. Less than 10 CY requires a permit; <br /> b. More than 10 CY, less than 5o CY, requires a CUP; <br /> c. Greater than 50 CY, excluded. <br /> ii. SIZ-2: <br /> a. Less than 50 CY requires a permit; <br /> b. More than 5o CY requires a CUP; <br /> iii. Outside Lake Setback: <br /> a. Less than 100 CY is allowed without permit; <br /> b. ioo CY or more requires a CUP. <br /> E. Any alteration outside of the shoreland area where the amount of <br /> grading exceeds 500 cubic yards. <br /> Effective Date: This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after passage and publication according to state law. <br /> Repeal: This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br /> Passed by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 7th day of June, 2022. <br /> Tyler Gardner, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Richard Spiczka, City Administrator <br />
