Pequot Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> March 2022 <br /> Calls for Service <br /> During the month of March (1st-31st) 2022,the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a <br /> record of 139 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Animal Complaint <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Drug Information <br /> • EMS <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Property Damage Accident <br /> • Scam <br /> • Theft <br /> • Traffic Arrest <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 3/16/2022 at approximately 10:13am,Sergeant Franz responded to a call of a burglary at a <br /> residence in Pequot Lakes. It was discovered that an ATV and generator were missing.The <br /> police department is following up on leads. <br /> On 3/19/2022 at approximately 8:14pm, Sergeant Franz was working a Towards Zero Deaths <br /> shift in the Crosslake area with a focus on impaired driving. Sergeant Franz stopped a driver for <br /> swerving and failing to drive in a single lane.The driver had several indicators of impairment. <br /> Sergeant Franz conducted field sobriety testing and the driver was subsequently placed under <br /> arrest for 4th Degree DWI. <br /> On 3/31/2022 at approximately 10:32pm,Sergeant Franz was on patrol on Highway 371.A <br /> vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed passed Sergeant Franz.The driver was stopped and had <br /> several indicators of impairment. Sergeant Franz conducted field sobriety testing and the driver <br /> was placed under arrest for 3rd Degree DWI. <br />
