Chief Nelson & Assistant Chief Bill Rickard will be <br /> traveling to Midwest Fire on May 23"d to do the final inspection and pick up the <br /> truck. <br /> The final funds have been requested from AFG (Assistance to Firefighters Grant); <br /> they should be received by May 4, 2022. <br /> The original contract was $293,845, there were 2 change orders involved adding an <br /> additional $11,175 bringing the total cost to $305,000. <br /> The AFG grant portion of this project is $267,809.52, the PLFD portion of this <br /> project is $37,210.48 (which will come from our fund balance). <br /> We are requesting the final payment (check), in the amount of$213,272.00 so we <br /> can bring it with us when we pick up the truck on May 23rd <br /> Council Action Request: Council Motion approving the change orders in the <br /> amount of$11,175 with a final payment amount of$213,272.00 payable to <br /> Midwest Fire. <br />
