Call Meeting to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair Lottman at 8:00 a.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER LUBKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER RIECK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 3. Approve EDC Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER REICK MOVED TO APPROVE THE NOVEMBER 16, 2021, <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER <br /> HOLLEY SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 4. School Update <br /> Mayor Gardner said he was impressed with how well the Police Department and <br /> School Officials worked together with a recent incident that happened at the school. <br /> 5. Chamber Update <br /> Nichole Heinen submitted an update to the agenda which included the following: <br /> • In November 2020, the Pequot Chamber website had 322 pageviews. In <br /> November 2021, it had 1,964. <br /> • Bobber Bocce on Ice(Sibley Lake)takes place on Saturday, February <br /> 12th. Looking for teams to register(on the Pequot Lakes Chamber site) <br /> and volunteers. <br /> • Starting to plan for next year's Stars and Stripes Days. Second committee <br /> meeting held later this month <br /> Commission Leiwica questioned why there were so many more website hits. Mayor <br /> Gardner suggested that it could the increased use of social media. <br /> 6. HRA Update <br /> Mayor Gardner stated that he will be attending the HRA meeting this afternoon along <br /> with the City Administrator Rich Spiczka.
