Public Works Report <br /> The December 2021, Public Works Monthly Report was received by Council. <br /> 9.2. DNR Grant Proposal <br /> Tim Houle presented the staff report. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding matching fund sources, timeline of deadline for <br /> March when work cannot begin until 2023, amenities of the park. <br /> Consensus of the Council is to hold off on the grant application until 2023 and the <br /> Park Commission can work on a plan for the park by October to utilize the grant. <br /> 9.3. Splash Pad Quotes <br /> Angie Duus presented the staff report. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVED TO ACCEPT COMMERCIAL <br /> RECREATION SPECIALISTS$130,246.52 QUOTE FOR THE INSTALLATION <br /> OF A TURNKEY SPLASHPAD AT TRAILSIDE PARK. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the city getting quotes for sitework, electrical, and <br /> water/sewer work. <br /> Jenni Gonczy presented the fundraising efforts. Ms. Gonzcy stated that cash in <br /> hand is $1,700 with a $25,000 match, change wars in the school will start soon, a <br /> couple different raffles are currently going, and paver sales have started. <br /> Jenni Gonczy asked the council if she could fundraise for an additional 160 sq ft <br /> to the plan to enable coloring the concrete for the splash pad to look like a <br /> bobber. <br /> 9.4 Cooperative Road Project <br /> Council Member Pederson asked for the final report be presented at the March 1, <br /> 2022, meeting. <br /> 10.
