MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2022 <br /> Members Present: Chair Lottman Commissioners Becklin, Hallan, Holley, <br /> Luebke, and Rieck <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Lelwica <br /> Others Present: Rich Spiczka, City Administrator; Tyler Glynn, BLAEDC; and <br /> Kurt Stumpf, Pequot Lakes School District Superintendent <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair Lottman at 8:04 a.m. <br /> 2. Elect Vice Chair for 2022 <br /> COMMISSIONER REICK MOVED TO ELECT MARK HALLAN AS EDC <br /> VICE CHAIR. COMMISSIONER LUEBKE SECONDED. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 3. Consider Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER LUBEKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER REICK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 4. Approve EDC Minutes <br /> CHAIR LOTTMAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 18, 2022; <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES AS PRESENTED. <br /> COMMISSIONER BECKLIN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 5. School Update <br /> Kurt Stumpf stated the School District is currently working on the following: <br /> • Facilities Assessment Study <br /> • Educational Assessment Needs <br /> • Teacher Evaluation Systems <br /> • Intervention Systems <br /> Chair Lottman asked Mr. Stumpf if the district has a growth percentage number. <br /> Mr. Stumpf gave an overview on open enrollment and enrollment projections will <br /> be included in the current assessments. Discussion ensued regarding open <br /> enrollment, sports,and early childhood development. <br /> 6. Chamber Update <br /> Commissioner Luebke stated Jenkins City Clerk attended the Bobber Bocce on <br />
