Pequot Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> January 2022 <br /> Calls for Service <br /> During the month of January(1st-31st) 2022,the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a <br /> record of 179 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • 911 Hang-up <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Animal Complaint <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Drug Information <br /> • EMS <br /> • Fraud <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Property Damage Accident <br /> • Theft <br /> • Vehicle Off Road <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 1/29/2022 at approximately 9:30am, Officer Kiel Rustad received a report of a vehicle theft <br /> from a residence in Pequot Lakes. At approximately 12:15 pm, Officer Rustad was dispatched to <br /> Timberjack for a male that was sitting by the dumpster for an unknown amount of time. Once <br /> officers arrived,the stolen vehicle was found in the ditch about 500 ft away from Timberjack <br /> and the male.Two other males showed up while officers were on scene.They stated they were <br /> there to pick up their friend. After officers spoke with the males and searched the vehicle and <br /> male, it was determined that two of the males were possibly involved with stealing the vehicle. <br /> One of the males was not arrested due to COVID-19 restrictions at the Crow Wing County Jail. <br /> Reports will be forwarded to the Crow Wing County Attorney's Office for charges.Another male <br /> was ultimately arrested for a Cass County warrant and transported to the Cass County Jail. <br />
