MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. MAYOR GARDNER OBSTAINED. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The January 20, 2022, Planning Commission minutes were received by Council. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> 7.1. Fire Report <br /> The 2021 Annual Report and January 2022 Operations Report were received by <br /> Council. <br /> 7.2. Joint Department Discussions Update <br /> The Joint Department Committee met in Breezy Point regarding the final updated <br /> proposal. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding updates to the agreement, temperature of the <br /> conversation has improved, equipment list update in the agreement, reducing the <br /> Fire Relief contribution from 1% to :5%,fiscal agent will be Pequot Lakes for at <br /> least one year, keeping contracts, approval by both councils by March, and Joint <br /> agreement in effect July 1, 2022. <br /> 7.3: Fire Fighter Retirement <br /> Mayor Gardner presented the staff report. The Council acknowledged and <br /> thanked Bob Peterson, Neil Casanova, and Dave Szymanski for their service. <br /> 7.4. Tanker Contract Update <br /> Tom Nelson presented the staff report. <br /> 8. Police <br /> 8.1 Police Department Monthly Report <br /> The December 2021, Police Department Monthly Report was received by <br /> Council. <br /> 8.2. 2021 Annual Report <br />
