City Council Minutes <br /> December 7,2021 <br /> Page 7 of 8 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS MOVED TO APPROVE 2022 HRA BUDGET OF <br /> $47,442. COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2022 TAX <br /> LEVY BUDGETS OF$3,293,440 IN REVENUE AND $3,055,375 IN <br /> EXPENDITURES. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2022 <br /> SPECIAL REVENUE & ENTERPRISE BUDGETS OF$973,375 IN <br /> REVENUE AND$838,375 IN EXPENDITURES. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 21-34 <br /> SETTING THE 2020 HRA LEVY AT$47,442. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> RONNING SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Mayor Gardner inquired what the levy amount is earmarked for. Ms. <br /> Lanning stated the levy amount is to pay for the principal and interest <br /> payment on the loan. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. MAYOR GARDNER OPPOSED. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 21-35 <br /> SETTING THE 2022 GENERAL REVENUE TAX LEVY AT$1,853,725 AND <br /> THE TAX ABATEMENT LEVY AT $18,960. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Mayor Gardner closed the public hearing. <br /> 11. Other Business <br /> Council Member Ronning gave a shout out to Jenni Gonczy for spear heading <br /> the Splash Pad Committee and fundraising efforts. <br /> Ms. Gonczy is asking the Council permission to allow the committee to offer <br /> benches, tables, and pavers to donors and allow a sign with all the sponsor <br /> names near the splash pad. <br /> The Consensus of the City Council is for Ms. Gonczy and the Splash Pad <br /> Committee to continue with her fundraising efforts. <br /> Ms. Duus asked Tamra Lanning, HRA Director, to provide an amortization <br /> schedule for West Grove Townhomes to the Council. Ms. Lanning stated she will <br /> send the schedule to Ms. Duus. <br />
