City of
Pequot AGENDA ITEM #10.3
Lakes
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Report Prepared by: Tim Houle, City Engineer
Date: July 1, 2014,
Subiect: Utility Billing Clerk
Report: The Personnel Committee (Mayor Adams,
Council Member Pederson, and the City Clerk) has met to
discuss the restructuring of the Utility Billing Clerk
position. The Committee is recommending that this
position become full time and be expanded to include
additional finance and administrative duties. The job
qualifications would be focused on finance and customer
service.
The existing position is 20 hours per week. During the
remaining 20 hours, the job duties for the position are
handled by the Zoning Administrator and the Finance
Administrator. This has become more of a struggle with
land use permits increasing and with the Finance
Administrator picking up more and more duties due to
regulations that must be met.
