COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br /> ABSTAINED. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO AUTHORIZE SUMMARY PUBLICATION <br /> OF ORDINANCE 14-01, CHAPTER 9, ARTICLE 9, RULES, <br /> REGULATIONS AND LICENSING RELATING TO SOLID WASTE AND <br /> RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.2. Refuse Hauler License <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE A $100 PER <br /> YEAR LICENSE FEE FOR REFUSE HAULERS OPERATING IN THE <br /> CITY. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0-1. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br /> ABSTAINED. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED THAT THE LICENSE YEAR FOR 2014 RUN <br /> FROM JUNE 1, 2014 TO DECEMBER 31, 2014 WITH A LICENSE FEE <br /> OF $50. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0-1. COUNCIL LMEMBER GARDNER <br /> ABSTAINED. <br /> 9.3. Request to Sell 1995 Ford Dump Truck <br /> Mike Loven requested authorization to sell the 1995 L8000 Ford dump <br /> truck which is being replaced by the new truck the City recently ordered. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO <br /> SELL THE 1995 FORD DUMP TRUCK. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.4. City Engineer Update <br /> North Washington Avenue Improvements -The bonds and insurance are <br /> being processed from DeChantal Excavating. Next month the City Council <br /> will b be presented with an engineering agreement to design the electrical <br /> system for the new streetlights. Construction is scheduled to begin the <br /> latter half of August. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO DEVELOP A COMMITTEE TO CHOOSE <br /> THE STREET LIGHT DESIGN FOR NORTH WASHINGTON. COUNCIL <br />
