City of <br />Pequott <br />Lakes - <br />AGENDA ITEM #8.3 <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Report by Chief Eric Wang <br />Date: January S, 2013 <br />Subiect: Purchase Police Service Vehicle <br />Report: <br />Background Information- The police department is <br />planning to replace the 2006 Crown Vic which currently <br />has 106 thousand miles on it. The Crown Vic does not have <br />current equipment installed i.e. 800 radio, computer and <br />digital ally camera. The idea is to have all police vehicles <br />outfitted the same and this would be accomplished with this <br />new vehicle purchase. The plan to replace this vehicle has <br />been in the works for the past two budget cycles, whereas <br />money has been put aside through capital outlay carryover. <br />The police department would like to get on a vehicle <br />replacement cycle to purchase a vehicle on a yearly basis <br />starting in 2015. <br />
