Park Board Minutes <br />April 10, 2014 <br />Page 3 <br />------------------------- <br />8. Other Business <br />Mike Loven informed the Park Commissioners that there will be additional paving <br />stones added to the Veteran's Memorial. Mike explained that he contacted Jack <br />Schmidt who is in charge of the project and informed him of the distance that <br />must be maintained from the Paul Bunyan Trail. <br />Chair Malecha requested that harvesting of timber at Mayo Lake Park be added <br />to the next Park Commission Agenda. <br />Discussion was held regarding planting of the flower pots that are placed on the <br />sidewalks during the summer. Chair Malecha suggested asking Claire Nagel and <br />Barb Sjoblad whether they would be interested in planting the flowers in the <br />barrels. Chair Malecha and Commissioner Ettesvold volunteered to assist in the <br />planting. The Commissioners suggested using the same flowers that were <br />planted last year. It was suggested that the planting take place following the May <br />gtn Park Commission meeting if possible. <br />Commissioner Ettesvold questioned about planting the flowers at the Bobber <br />Park. It was noted that the flowers should be planted in the blue pots before <br />Memorial weekend. <br />Dave Lind, Sibley Lake Association, explained that the Lake Association wants to <br />keep in touch with the Park Commission regarding improvements to Sibley Lake <br />Park. He questioned if there was a timeframe for the repair of the steps. Mr. Lind <br />stated that the Lake Association would like to do some erosion control near the <br />steps at Sibley Lake Park. <br />9. Adiournment ��!�"%��%%�"� <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER GIBBONS SECONDED THE <br />MOTION.
