October 20, 2020 <br />Pequot Lakes Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br /> <br />Commissioners present: Robert Ritter, Pat Dullum, Pat Dittes, Bonnie Eastvold, Debbie Botham <br />Also present: Interim Executive Director- Lynn Katzenberger, J. Schouveller, T. Graff, L. Parker, A. <br />Duus <br /> <br />*Call Regular Meeting to Order <br />3:00p.m. Chairman Ritter called the meeting to order. <br />*Consider Agenda/Changes <br />No Changes <br />*Consent Agenda/Regular Meeting <br />Motion to accept the Minutes. <br />Moved by Dullum, Seconded by Botham, all Ayes; motion carried. <br />Motion to accept the Payment of the Bills. <br />Moved by Dittes, Seconded by Botham, all Ayes; motion carried. <br />Motion to accept the Financials. <br />Moved by Dullum, Seconded by Eastvold, all Ayes; motion carried. <br />*West Grove <br />No business <br />*Sibley Terrace <br />No business <br />*ParkView <br />Received the refund check from Carpet Direct in the amount of $2582.78 for the carpet mishap <br />back when carpet was installed at Parkview I in May 2019. <br />*Alpine <br />Rural Development is no longer in mortgage forbearance and back paid us the 2 months they <br />were behind. Making payments in the amount of $1000 for 4 months to reimburse what we <br />borrowed from Alpine’s Reserves to help pay bills during the mortgage forbearance. First <br />payment was in September. <br />*Interim Executive Director’s Report <br />Lynn thanked the Board and tenants for all the help and support they have given her the past <br />month. She appreciates it very much. <br />*Maintenance Report <br />Fall clean-up is done and now working on preparing our winter equipment for the season. We <br />still have left over salt from last season to use for the beginning of this winter season and will <br />purchase more from the city when needed. Due to COVID the cost of materials to do the <br />coverings of the dumpsters is high right now we are pushing this project out to spring. We <br />received one of the two refrigerators that were on back order. The other one is expected to arrive <br />in December. <br />*Other Business <br />The Protocol for Board Meeting Policy that was reviewed last month had typo’s and will be <br />presented again next month for approval. Chairman R. Ritter addressed discretion is needed by <br />board members regarding conversations outside of board meetings. He also spoke of the <br />Information Gathering Agenda for Housing in Pequot Lakes. City is trying to evaluate housing <br />needs and availability. He asked if anyone would like to take his place in it to represent the HRA. <br />B. Botham had accepted. <br />*Open Forum <br />Parkview I resident complimented on the new bird house outside in front of the building. Another <br />had asked about placing a mat outside their door in the hall for boots. Tenant was told this was <br />not allowed as it is a fire regulation and it’s also stated in their Tenant Handbook. <br />
