October 6. 2009 — Council Actions • Held a public hearing on tax abatement for Oppidan • Adopted Resolution 09 -30 granting tax abatement for Oppidan • Joined the petition to vacate a portion of First Street • Held a public hearing for the vacation of portions of First and Second Streets • Adopted Resolution 09 -32 to vacate a section of First Street • Adopted Resolution 09 -33 vacating a portion of Second Street • Adopted Ordinance 09 -07 Rezoning Tulenchik Property • Adopted Resolution 09 -31 approving lot subdivisions for recording • Appointed Deb Brown to the Planning Commission • Approved contract with Donald Hannahs for Animal Control • Approved Change Order #4 for South Oak Street Project �... • Adopted the Fleet Safety Policy • Renewed contract with Healthpartners for 2010 October 13, 2009 — Council Actions • Adopted new water and sewer usage fees for 2010 • Eliminated the summer usage policy • Approved wage increase for union and non -union employees for 2010 • Authorized expenditures in the amount of $3,500 to fix water control issue on East Butler • Closed Clerk's office on November 27th • Waived building permit fee to construct a platform and stairs on gazebo in the park Meetings Park Commission The Park Commission minutes are included for your review. The Park Commission met on October 8th. The Park Board agreed to make a new sign for the Cole Memorial Building and to add a new sign on the bell and landscape around the bell. Economic Development Commission The Economic Development Commission minutes are attached. The Commission met on October 20th.
