COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- 0. 11.4. Request for Donation from the First Responders The Clerk noted that the North Crow Wing County First Responders are requesting a donation in the amount of $4,000. There have been no funds designated for this donation. She further noted that the last donation the Council made to this organization was in 2007 in the amount of $3,000. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO DONATE $3,000 FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUND. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO STATE THAT THE MONEY MUST BE USED TO PURCHASE NEW AND UPDATED EQUIPMENT. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. I..., MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 5 -0. 11.5. Consider Alternate Financial Report for Council The Clerk stated that a revised and shortened financial report has been provided for Council review. She indicated that this is being provided in an effort to conserve paper. She stated that if the Council decides that this report is sufficient, the report that the Council currently receives can be e- mailed to any council member upon request. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO SWITCH TO THE REVISED FORM. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. Council Member Ryan questioned if it is possible to get year to date budget against year to date actual budget numbers. Nancy Malecha stated that this could be done with the software we are using. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED THAT THERE BE A CHANGE IN THE FINANCIAL REPORT TO SHOW YEAR TO DATE BUDGET ACTUAL ADJUSTED FOR SEASONALITY COMPARED TO YEAR TO DATE BUDGET FUND BY FUND AT THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE
