MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />`-- TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 2009 <br />PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL <br />Members Present: Mayor Adams, Council Members Malecha, Nagel, Sjoblad, <br />and Ryan <br />Staff Present: Sandra Peine, City Clerk; Nancy Malecha; Finance <br />Administrator; Dawn Bittner, Zoning Administrator; <br />Jerry Braam, Chief of Police; Mike Loven; Public Works <br />Supervisor; Dave Anderson, Library Treasurer; Tom <br />Nelson, Fire Chief, Erika O'Brien, HRA Director <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br />Mayor Adams called the meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council to <br />order at 6:00 p.m. <br />1.1 Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mayor Adams led with the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />L <br />2. Consider Agenda <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br />AGENDA AS PRESENTED. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />3. Budget Work Session <br />The Mayor stated that the meeting is a budget work session to review <br />preliminary budgets by department. <br />• HRA <br />Erika O'Brien presented the HRA budget. The proposed 2010 HRA <br />budget is $1,300. This is a 0% increase from the 2009 budget. The <br />Council made no changes to this budget. <br />The proposed 2010 HRA Levy is at $31,000. This is a zero percent <br />increase from the 2009 levy. The Council made no changes to this <br />budget. <br />
