We want to thank John Hayes, Jeremie Bridge, and Dusty Zeimet for helping with the
Breezy fest. John Hayes also was able to purchase a new ram for the valve on Engine m2
'.. about $50.00 less than we paid last time it was repaired. Good job John.
The new office is almost done. We need telephone and internet access lines installed.
Chief Nelson was able to purchase a new Hurst tool with a cutter and spreader with funds
that were saved and with the Narveson donation. The new tool is lighter weight, uses less
toxic oils, and has more pressure and power. The tool in Engine 1 will be moved to
Breezy's engine 2. The old heavy tool will be retired.
fire prevention week will be the first week of October. Hayes motioned we sponsor the
open house second by Warner, motion passed. The day for the open house will be
Wednesday, October 70. The time was planned for 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The new cutter and
spreader tool will be displayed. Tasha thought we should also make the public aware of
donations and how the department is funded.
We need volunteers to help with the fxe prevention program at the elementary school. A
Grass 2 at the Breezy station should be replaced. The radio does not work and it is not safe
to drive. We need to decide if we keep it or replace it.
with long drive ways.
Oaksd motioned we move Rescue 1 to the Breezy station, second by Larson, motion
passed.
Chief Nelson suggested we establish a no run policy for cancelled fire calls. We will page
