City Council Minutes <br />October 6, 2009 <br />Page 10 of 12 <br />Chief Braam presented the Animal Control Contract with Donald C. <br />Hannahs, Jr. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br />INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR PERSONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />(ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACT) WITH DONALD C. HANNAHS JR. <br />FOR 2010. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.1. WaterMastewater Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />9.2. Final Pay Estimate for DeChantal Excavating — South Oak Street <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE FINAL PAY <br />ESTIMATE TO DECHANTAL EXCAVATING FOR THE SOUTH OAK <br />STREET PROJECT AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A CHECK IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $12,508.53. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.3. Change Order #4 for South Oak Street Proiect <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER <br />#4 FOR THE SOUTH OAK STREET PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$25,448.64. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0 <br />10. City Engineer <br />Tim Houle stated that there will be a meeting next week with the Highway <br />371 corridor group. He indicated that he will have a proposal for Council <br />consideration to study what City improvements will be needed in <br />association with the Highway 371 project, and the cost of those <br />improvements. <br />Tim Houle suggested that the Council consider a meeting between the <br />City Council and Planning Commission to discuss the issue of future plans <br />for the possible extension of sewer and water on the west side of South <br />Highway 371. He noted that this issue has been discussed and <br />questioned by staff and developers many times during the past several <br />years. <br />11. City Clerk's Report <br />
