Meetings <br />City Council Meetines <br />MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br />City Clerk's Office <br />August, 2009 <br />The Council held two Council meeting in August. <br />August 4. 2009 — Council Actions <br />• Approved partial pay estimate # 1 to Tri-City Paving for work on the <br />Butler/Woodman Street Projects <br />• Approved partial pay estimate #3 to DeChantal Excavating for work on the South <br />Oak Street Project <br />• Denied conceptual support for the establishment of a TIF redevelopment district <br />by Oppidan <br />• Approved a final plat fro Sentinel Office Park <br />• Approved a resolution and ordinance to move forward with the implementation of <br />administrative citations according to State Statute <br />• Decertified tax increment district No. 1 -1 - Gammello <br />August 11, 2009 — Special Council Meeting <br />• The Council held a budget work session to consider the preliminary 2010 budgets <br />and levy <br />Meetings <br />Park Commission <br />The Park Commission minutes are included for your review. The Park Commission met <br />on August 13`h and discussed a new sign for the Cole Memorial Building. The Historical <br />Society is giving some input on the sign. The Park Commission will meet at Gildner Park <br />in September to decide what amenities they would like to include in the park. The Park <br />Commission is in the process of working with UBC, the Lions club and a private citizen <br />to jointly get the funds to redesign the gazebo so that it can also be used as a band shelter. <br />NNW <br />
