City of <br />Pequot <br />Lakes.— <br />ITEM #5.1.B. <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Date: September 1, 2009 <br />Subject: Request to Call a Public Hearing for TIF <br />Report: Oppidan has submitted a revised TIF request. <br />This request reflects plan revisions and a revision in the <br />amount of TIF requested. BLADC and Oppidan will <br />discuss this issue during the previous agenda item. The <br />Developers are now requesting $500,000 in TIF. <br />Calling this public hearing does not cost the City any <br />money. All costs will be covered by the developer. <br />Council Action Requested: Council motion adopting the <br />attached resolution calling for a public hearing on the <br />proposed adoption of a modification to the development <br />program for development district number 1 and the <br />proposed establishment of a tax increment financing district <br />No. 1 -14 therein and the adoption of a tax increment <br />financing plan. <br />I%-. <br />
