Pequat Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> Au�ust 2020: During the month of July (1St-315Y),the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a <br /> record of 317 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Agency Assist <br /> • Animal Bite <br /> • Animal Complaint <br /> • Civil Problem <br /> • EMS <br /> • Damage To Property <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Public Assist <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Theft <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 8/4/20, Officer Mike Davis was dispatched to a report of a dog attack. It was reported that <br /> two women were walking past a residence with their dog when a large dog came out of the <br /> house and attacked their dog. The owner of the large dog was issued paperwork for Potentially <br /> Dangerous Dog. <br /> On 8/28/20, Officer Matt Jorgens and Chief Eric Klang responded to a report of an unresponsive <br /> male inside a vehicle at the post office. The vehicle was in park, male had his foot on the gas <br /> pedal and the vehicle was severely overheating. Officers broke the window to gain entry to the <br /> vehicle. Life saving measures were performed but were unsuccessful. <br />
