Effective January 1, 2013 Clyde C. <br />Ahlquist will be taking over my law practice and the firm name will change to Alilquist Law Office, <br />PLLC. Clyde graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1985; and, since then has been <br />engaged in the general practice of law. Clyde has relevant experience in the practice areas of: real <br />estate, estate planning, probate, general business and municipal law. Specifically, Clyde has <br />represented land owners and developers seeking lot splits and plats, as well as conditional use <br />permits and zoning variances. Also, Clyde has served as a corporate general counsel dealing with a <br />range of boards and governance issues. I will be working with Clyde in the capacity as "of counsel" <br />and will specifically work with Clyde on legal matters for the City. My firm has had the privilege of <br />representing the City for the past nine years and we have enjoyed working with the City Council and <br />Staff and Clyde and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to represent the City of Pequot <br />Lakes on civil matters in 2013. <br />The proposed scope of services remains the same as in the past with legal services provided on an <br />hourly basis as requested by the City. Enclosed is the 2013 fee schedule. The fee schedule outlines <br />the hourly rate for legal services as well as expenses. There is no proposed increase in the fee <br />schedule from 2012.
