Pequot Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> Julv 2020: During the month of July (15Y-315Y), the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record <br /> of 336 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • 911 Hangup <br /> • Agency Assist <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Civil Problem <br /> • EMS <br /> • Fireworks <br /> • Damage To Property <br /> • Hazard In Road <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Party Complaint <br /> • Theft <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 7/4/20, Sgt. Ryan Franz was dispatched to the report of a large party with underage subjects <br /> present. Along with assistance from the Nisswa Police Department and Crow Wing County <br /> Sheriff's Office, officers dispersed the party and issued 16 citations for Underage Consumption. <br /> On 7/8/20, Sgt. Ryan Franz was working overnight when a large storm came through Pequot <br /> Lakes. He assisted the Maintenance Department by removing trees and branches from multiple <br /> locations that were blocking the roadway. <br /> On 7/18/20, Sgt. Ryan Franz was dispatched to a report of physical domestic. A female called <br /> 911 and stated she had been choked and hit in the face by a male. Male also called 911 and <br /> stated he had been assault by the female. Along with assistance from Reserve Officer Adam <br /> Casanova and the Breezy Point Police Department, the male was ultimately arrested for Felony <br /> Domestic Assault by Strangulation and was transported to the Crow Wing County Jail. <br /> On 7/25/20, Officers Steve Emerson and Mike Davis were dispatched to a 911 Hangup. A <br /> juvenile female had called 911 and stated that there was a fight happening between her mom <br /> and boyfriend and then the call disconnected. The officers arrived on scene and spoke to <br /> parties involved. The male party agreed to leave for the night. It was determined that both <br /> parties engaged in mutual combat. Both the male and female were issued citations for <br /> Misdemeanor pomestic Assault. <br />
