City Council Minutes <br /> August 4, 2020 <br /> Page 6 of 10 <br /> ----------------------------- <br /> Mr. Peterson has provided a Quit Claim Deed conveying ownership of Outlot B, <br /> Mayoville Estates, to the City. <br /> The City Attorney has been consulted and advised Staff of the Quit Claim Deed <br /> process. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 20-29 <br /> ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF OUTLOT B, MAYOVILLE ESTATES. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.3. Armed Services Fla4 Displav <br /> March 5, 2020 the City Council adopted:�Resolution 20-10 accepting the donation <br /> from the FM Area Foundation for a U �:}4rmed Services flag display around the <br /> Veteran's Memorial in Trailside Park. The City received two quotes and the Park <br /> Commission unanimously recomrr�rtds the Council accept the Falls Flag Source <br /> quote for$11,040.00. <br /> Falls Flag Source secured a third-party quot�fCtr a concrete strip around the <br /> flagpoles, approximately 2'wide X 20' long. Tfi� Park Commission unanimously <br /> recommends the Council accept the third-party quote for the concrete strip from <br /> Rickard and Sons for$2,300.00. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ACCEPT THE QUOTE FROM <br /> FALLS FLAG SOURCE FOR $11,040 AND QUOTE FOR THE CONCRETE <br /> STRIP FROM RICKARD AND SONS FOR $2,300. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 40. <br /> 9.4. Maintenance Facilitv Final Pavment <br /> After some back-and-forth with the City Attorney and Boser Construction, Inc.'s <br /> (BCI's) - the construction Contractor's—attorney, there was agreement on BCI <br /> dropping their claim, the City dropping their liquidated damages claim, and <br /> executing the payment of the remainder of the original Contract Amount. <br /> BCI has provided the close out paperwork per the construction Contract, along <br /> with a refease of claims letter prepared by the City Attorney(signed by BCI and <br /> to be signed by the Mayor). <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO ACCEPT THE FINAL PAYMENT <br /> TO BOSER CONSTRUCTION, INC IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,912.99. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 40 <br /> 10. Administration <br />
