In your letter, you <br />said you have never received guidance as to what the City wants specifically (my <br />emphasis) done to correct the shallow watermain in the Trailside development. <br />Please re- review our May 12, 2009 letter to you (we have enclosed a copy). <br />As stated in our May 12th letter, while we estimated the extent of the work based on gate <br />valve depth measurements, we asked you to provide a written plan, part of which would <br />include identifying the specific extents of work. We also asked you for a corresponding <br />bar chart schedule for your work. I know our office did not receive such a plan and <br />schedule and I am not aware that the City received one either. <br />We did communicate by Email with Landecker (and copied you and the City) on July <br />2nd in response to potholing you performed (we have enclosed a copy). We provided <br />some suggestions and asked that you address all of the sub- standard depth watermain. <br />As stated in our May 12th letter, if the work is not completed by August 15, 2009, <br />including having a stand of grass, the City will have to pursue your bond or whatever <br />other legal means are at their disposal. <br />WIDSETH SMITH NOLTING <br />Timothy M.
