something difficult to explain to their local residents. After comparing contract estimates
. from the charts from our last meeting, it was apparent that Jenkins Township's rate
increase was quite noticeable. The City and fire department try to keep contract fees as
fair as possible. The plan of using all fire calls may not be the best way to make the
calculations. McNerney would like to have the Fire Board call for a vote at our next
meeting to approve or not approve-the plan of using all fire calls in the contract
calculation formula. This motion was second by Ryan. Motion carried. After more
discussion a decision was made to take another look at the fire call plan and see if a fair
___ -------- ..___.__._.plan.could be implemented. Dubay and Benson thought if a vote were held, the decision
would be deadlocked. A lot of confusion about the discussion of billing for contracts will
need to be carefully considered.
Ryan motioned to adjourn, second by McNerney, meeting was declared adjourned.
Next meeting will be October 20' at 7:00 pm.
